Joe Hermosa is an Austin native, multidisciplinary artist and muralist whose work is rooted from his personal style that features bold color ways and crisp line work. As a self taught artist and McCoy Business School graduate from Texas State University, he has built a growing body of public artwork throughout Austin and beyond. Joe transforms walls and spaces into vibrant, large-scale pieces designed to connect with the people who experience them. In addition to murals, Joe paints large canvases, designs & embroiders clothing and creates digital artwork.

 

​His work ranges from major public murals and sports-driven installations to branded activations and original artwork, while maintaining a recognizable visual style built around bold forms, movement, and storytelling. For Joe, each project is an opportunity to create something that feels authentic to his vision and purpose, while leaving a lasting visual impact. As his work continues to grow in scale and reach, his focus remains the same: creating quality and meaningful artwork, representing his style/family/city/people, and building a body of work that can live in and far beyond Austin.
